A note on our photography, research & AI-generated imagery

With AI-generated imagery becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish from real photography, we want to be completely transparent about what you see at Bling Ring Atelier. Our clothing photography is real. The garments shown on our site are photographed by us. We do not use AI to generate clothing onto models, alter garments, or create artificial product images.

Our research is based on real, documented references.

When we say a piece is As Seen On, we mean that we have researched and identified the same brand, style, color, print, and garment seen on a celebrity or appearing on screen. We do not consider an AI-generated or digitally altered image of a celebrity wearing a similar or different garment to be ASO evidence. As AI-generated imagery becomes more prevalent, we've seen images created by digitally placing clothing onto celebrities and presenting the resulting image as though it were an original photograph.While these images can be remarkably convincing, they are not historical documentation — and they are not ASO.

What Qualifies as "As Seen On"?

Our As Seen On references are based on existing, verifiable photography, film, television footage, or other documented sources showing the celebrity or character wearing the garment or an identifiable version of the style. We research the original appearance rather than relying on an AI recreation or digitally altered image. We also want to be clear about something important: ASO does not mean that we own the exact garment worn by the celebrity. Unless specifically stated otherwise, our pieces are the same brand, style, color, print, or documented garment identified through research. We do not represent a reproduction, look-alike, or AI recreation as the original celebrity-owned garment.

Why We're Saying This

Bling Ring Atelier exists for people who care about the story behind the clothing — collectors, fashion obsessives, and anyone who wants to know where a piece came from, where it appeared, and who wore it. As AI imagery becomes increasingly sophisticated, we believe that distinction becomes even more important. We're interested in real clothes, real photographs, and real fashion history.

Our goal is simple: to make sure that when we tell you a piece was As Seen On, there is genuine research and sourcing behind that claim.
